We set one kind of cookie, and only if you say yes.

We run Google Ads, and we use Google’s advertising tag to see which ads actually bring people to us. The Google Ads tag is completely blocked until you accept.

Here is exactly how it works:

• On your first visit you’ll see a small banner with Accept and Decline. Both buttons are the same size and do what they say.
• Until you choose, and if you decline: the Google Ads/Tag Manager code does not load, no advertising cookies are set, and your browser sends no request to it.
• If you accept: the Google Ads tag loads and may use advertising cookies so we can tell that an ad led to a booking. Personalised advertising remains disabled; the purpose is measuring ads, not following you around.

Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage under bt-consent, so we don’t ask twice. That one entry is what makes the banner stop appearing; it is not tracking.

To change your mind, clear your browser storage for biketirana.com and the banner will ask again.

What we still don’t do: no analytics, no heatmaps, no fingerprinting, no newsletter, no ad profiles of our own, and no selling of anything to anyone.

What about booking?

When you click Book, you leave our site and check out on Bokun (our booking system), or on GetYourGuide, Viator, or Tripadvisor if you found us there. Those sites set their own cookies under their own policies:

The same goes for WhatsApp if you message us: WhatsApp privacy policy.

If we ever add another cookie, this page will say exactly which one, what it does, and how long it lives, before it ships.
